Lake Houston…

Hey guys, Red Barron here.  Big Mike and myself decided to take a quick trip for some much needed fishing.  Our driving got us to Lake Houston with a half tank of gas in the boat and a need to swing some baits.  We drive around a bit, as we’ve never spent any real time on this body of water.  We do a little bit of fishing near the dam, cruise around a bit more, then settle in on a cove that is protected from the wind.

Mike catches the first fish, a 2 lb. sheepshead on a spinnerbait… not bad.

I swing in and catch a small one on a swimbait, right against the bulkhead.
