Hey guys! Red Barron here! No matter what you’re doing while out on the water, safety should always be the highest priority. For that reason, in the case that the driver is thrown from the boat, all powered boats are required to have a kill switch that attaches to the driver to prevent the boat from operating without a driver. If you’re into fishing tournaments, most tournament rules state that while the engine is operating or under way, the kill switch must be attached to the driver.
