This trip was a a long time coming. While the wife and kids were out of town, Red Barron and Big Mike decided to make a run to Sam Rayburn with the camper an boat in tow for a THREE DAY FISHING EXTRAVAGANZA.
The trip was amazing, filled with prayer, fish, cheeseburgers, coffee, and great times. We tried our hands at trolling for white bass, but lo and behold, we were not to catch any. We managed two small largemouth bass and one catfish on the trolling rigs.
We moved to the trusty carolina rig with 7″ motor oil Power Worms. This is the technique we utilized to catch most of our fish. Big Mike enjoyed learning a new technique that bagged fish as well.
