Hey guys, Red Barron here! In late November, Low Man Mario and I decided it was time to make another trip up to lake Conroe for some fishing.
It was a beautiful day with just a bit of chop on the main lake, which is rare for Conroe. Typically the lake is really rough anywhere South of the FM 1097 bridge due to boater traffic, wind, and bulkheads for all of the waves to bounce off of. Today was our lucky day!
Following some time South of the FM 1097 bridge, we ventured North to try it out in the sticks. Of course, we had some fun trying to film a quick tip!
We stumbled upon a nice catfish that had become tangled in some braided line on an underwater tree that was in bad shape… What did we do next? Follow along below! Remember, you’re not livin’ unless you’re Just Givin’er! We’ll see you next time on the water!
