Hey guys, Red Barron here. In March I had the itch to get out and wet a line. The only problem was that it was 10:00PM on a Friday night and I wanted to go Saturday morning! My buddy, John “Tax” Green answered the call, both of our wives were apparently ready to get us out of the house!
We met at Clear Lake Park Boat Ramp near NASA. It was a beautiful morning, and we were ready to enjoy it. I started out fishing the bass bait, the Watermelon/Red Fleck Senko, with a Spike-It dipped tail. I was surprised with the response!
John was not one to be out-matched! He responded later with several catches that provided an enjoyable day.
