Hey Guys~ Red Barron here. I want to take a minute to try and define what Just Givin’er means to us. When we decided to start Just Givin’er, the emphasis was always on having good clean fun while fishing or doing pretty much anything else in life. When we started, I felt like there was always a greater meaning to Just Givin’er. Then, it hit me. Living for Christ! We want others to experience the same amount of joy that we have in all situations due the salvation of our souls! That’s what Just Givin’er is, living life for God to the max at all times!
My buddy, Dan and his family made the long trek down to visit for a week or so. I told him, “Come down to Texas and I’ll take you fishing.” His family had to play storm chasers with tornadoes swirling around them on their way down. Talk about a good friend!
We set off with shrimp out of Clear Lake Park boat ramp, into Clear Creek. It was a nice day. We had a great time talking about parallels between Jesus and Joseph of Arimathea, catching red drum, and having a close call or two!
